Lois Letchford: Comprehension and the word 'it.'

Lois Letchford: Comprehension and the word 'it.' WE, teachers, often make assumptions about student knowledge. If a student reads a word, therefore they fully comprehend it. In this video, I tell of my learning when teaching students. I read this book with them and asked "What does the word "it" mean here? Hear my student's responses!
When we work with vulnerable readers we learn as much about teaching reading as they do in learning to read.
