I show the low soil temperature zone 8 on 3rd May, and have not yet sown climbing or French beans. This coming week is good but under cover so that germination is strong and seed not wasted. The word "bean" covers many possibilities. The broad beans behind me were sown November and soybeans for Edamame a week ago, in the greenhouse.
