Things tend to escalate further than you expect....

Topic of this video is my view that things tend to escalate further than you expect first but even the worse case scenario can be managed.

When we lost our business in 2011 the government closed the mobile SMS business. We thought it couldn’t get any worse how wrong we were !!!

After the business got closed we had police raids, government hearings, account receivables not being paid, we had to lay off most of the staff and close the office, deal with the taxes and many more things.

When things go bad they tend to escalate further first before they get better and that’s oke.

What I now see is that many businesses are planning for a ’short term disruption’ of their business. However I believe this is a transformational economic shift and what comes out of this will look nothing like what we went in with. I feel this could easily take 6-12 months and I think it is smart to plan for disruption not interruption.
