Hey guys! Today we are removing 2 final little kitchen walls (the ones boxing in the refrigerator) and that is IT for the wall take-down! We also are mouse proofing the house with steel wool, caulk and wire screens for anywhere that they can possibly get in. Instead of focusing our efforts on *just* getting rid of the ones there, we have read that it is the most important to stop them from coming in, because if they can't get in? No mouse problem. We sealed up the entire porch area and also will be going up into the attic soon to see if there are any other areas that need to be sealed, so far - so good. The contractors have put new headers on the windows that are being enlarged, demolished the bathroom upstairs (you will see that soon) and also the wood flooring company came and has now laid the wood floors in a few of the rooms!! Sanding/staining will be done later on as the project comes to a close. Because of the events of our world right now, construction has completely stopped. The electrician can't work, our contractors can't work, the cabinet company stopped production & we are on a hold ---- This doesn't mean anything for our videos though, we will definitely still be continuing to make content! We have tons of projects we can do in the mean time (painting, landscaping, gardening etc!)
Today's video is basically an overall update on where we are at in the house. Hopefully everything passes soon (but not too soon, so we can flatten the curve) and we can get to moving into this place! We also started seeds this week, video will be coming soon!
