How to unlock remodeling in Nioh 2 and how to get +1 equipment available to remodel. I do believe you can forge a weapon to get a +1 stat as well as finding green or better rarity items that come equipped with a +1 modifier. It is possible that remodeling is still random, but I unlocked it after completing the sub missions for the blacksmith.
