Is it really possible to start train services for 2 days ?

So many of you have commented that train service should be resumed because many have been stuck in metropolitan cities and they are now concerned about their life in these cities.
So is it really possible for Indian railways to resume the services for 2 or 3 days just to help these people who are stuck?
