Hi everyone Today, she’s here, DUN DUN DUN!!! I’m not wearing a mask because Fay and I do see each other outside frequently and we are very, very safe outside of the house.
Fay’s picked the palette so we’re also showing you how we narrow down the three million colour choices into a viable palette. So we swatch them and Fay gets rid of one’s she doesn’t want.
She decided on:
- Pure Brown, Belgian Fountain, Inferno, Amber Lights, Cosmopolitan, Aztec Copper, Meringue, NG-CH-B414, and obviously, Natural Beige and Clear Acrylic Powder.
All acrylics and glitters that were swatched are listed below though, in case you like any of them. And we’re going to do TIPS! We’re not sculpting them, we’re doing tips. You can look at applying tips more in-depth on this video - . I’ll size the tip and then apply glue to the edge and then press on the nail. I’m going to pinch the nails and cut them into the Modern Almond shape. I’ll then file the sides, check the contact area, and then blend the tip into the natural nail.
I’m going to start with a smile line in Natural Beige on the middle two fingers. I’ll file the smile line edge to make it super sharp. I’m then going to use a blend of our chosen colours to create an ombre effect for the tip. I’ll finish it off with some more glitter and gold shards. I’m going to cap in clear for strength and finish these off in the next video.
