Subscribe to our channel! rupt.ly/subscribe CCTV footage leaked to Turkish media and released on Monday allegedly shows Saudi officials arriving at the Saudi Consul-General's residence in Istanbul, on the day journalist Jamal Khashoggi was killed.
The video also shows men carrying bags into the residence, which Turkish reports have speculated to contain the dissident journalist's remains.
Jamal Khashoggi was killed and dismembered after entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2 to prepare documents for his upcoming marriage. Saudi officials originally claimed Khashoggi had left the building unharmed, but later said he had been killed in a "rogue operation."
The Saudi Consul-General's residence seen in the footage is located several hundred metres from the consulate.
