In this video, we bring you an A Cozy Shipping Container Home in Cascade Locks, Oregon built using 2 shipping containers. This modern container home is built using 2 forty foot shipping containers placed side by side and sheared horizontally to create a sheltered entrance porch. The containers were fabricated offsite, transported to site by tracks then hoisted onto the foundations using a crane. The containers are elevated of the ground away from moisture sitting on a concrete foundation. Portions of the containers are pulled out to create big bay windows in the bedrooms and the living room. This design is derived from the SUITE SPOT model by relevant homes. A small staircase connecting to a small deck anchors the building onto the ground as the main entrance of the building. The salient features of the home include open living with a dining, kitchen, a full bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a big covered entrance porch to create a total of 782 sq ft of a luxury living.
