Punk Bartender Makes Rockin' Old Fashioned Riff with Bénédictine Cue the bass riff and snare-heavy drums - it's the May 2-4 long weekend. To get the party started, we're mixing cocktails and playlists in one head-banging combo lead by Sandy De Almeida from The Drake Hotel in Toronto. Since Dewar's knows a thing or two about masterful blends, it'll make the perfect backbone in this drink - The Withnail And I. With special guest feature from Bénédictine, this is one cocktail sure to be on your list of new favourite mixes.


What You'll Need:
- Mixing Glass
- Rocks Glass
- Ice
- Hawthorne Strainer + Fine Strainer
- Muddler
- 2oz Dewar's Blended Scotch
- .25oz Bénédictine
- .25oz islay scotch
- .25oz vanilla syrup
- 2 slices ripe, soft pear (any kind)


01:49 - Make Your Own:
To your mixing glass add:
1. .25oz vanilla syrup
2. Add 2 pear slices, and muddle until completely mushed
3. Pour .25oz islay scotch
4. 2oz. Dewar's Blended Scotch
5. .25oz Bénédictine
6. Add ice, and stir lightly - not too fast, not too long. Just to dilute and chill.
Use a fine strainer, and pour your cocktail over ice in a rocks glass.
Add some garnish to your glass - pear works best!
