What does living in the present mean? | Tammy Joanna | TEDxBucharestSalon While we think we are living in the present, the objects we use, the clothes we wear or the services we use have been around for decades and have been designed in a different time.

In her talk, Tammy Joanna makes her case for adjusting our lifestyle, consumer behavior and the choices we make to better suit the world we are living in now. She argues for living and consuming objects and services which are designed to fit our current needs, much evolved from those of decades ago, and pave the way to evolution. Multidisciplinary designer and art installations creator, with a background of formal education in product design and a master in materials, developed tech devices at Bitdefender and was part of the design team of renowned designer Karim Rashid in New York. Currently developing products at her own design business Tammy.studio This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
