'We should be careful, but certainly not panic': Bolt Sky News host Andrew Bolt says given recent daily rate of increases of the coronavirus, the outbreak is "serious, but not hopeless, and we should be very careful, but certainly not panic".

In what Mr Bolt said was the "best of the good news today" the measures employed by the government and carried out by the public do "seem to be working", as the daily rate of infections have dropped to 13 and 15 per cent over the last two days.

"I know the virus is still spreading, and too fast, but we do seem to be slowing it down, and our hospitals are nowhere near swamped," he said.
