New opportunity for produce suppliers in ABQ New efforts are underway in Albuquerque to support local growers and producers during the pandemic. Mayor Tim Keller announced on Tuesday that Albuquerque’s farmers markets will be able to provide their products for pickup. Starting on May 3, the Rail Yards Market will begin “Farm to Car” option on Sundays, and the Downtown Grower’s Market will offer the option on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Now, those who need it the most can access affordable local produce.
