You can make your own soap tablets by melting a soap bar in the microwave and then pouring it back in an old pill container. You can seal it on top with some kitchen foil and you’re all set.
Another great traveling toiletry to make is toothpaste. You simply add a few blobs of toothpaste on some greaseproof paper and then you sprinkle some baking soda on top to make them solid. Every time you need to brush your tooth, you munch on some toothpaste and then you start brushing.
To make your own fire starter, simply add some nail polish on a few cotton pads.
If you don’t have a tent but you still want to have a small outdoorsy trip, then you can just take an airbed with you, inflate it and place it at the back of your car.
